STI and BBV Nursing: An Introduction
Nurses and midwives play a crucial role in the prevention of blood-borne viruses (BBVs) and sexually transmissible infections (STIs). They have invaluable communication skills and are well placed to identify priority populations for screening.
Through a case study, presentations, group discussion and online learning this two-part online workshop will provide attendees with the introductory skills to incorporate STI and BBV screening within their workplace.
Online Workshop 1: Thursday 21st January 6:30pm – 8:00pm (AWST)
Online Workshop 2: Thursday 28th January 6:30pm – 8:00pm (AWST)
Please note that you will need to attend both workshops in order to receive accreditation.
