Hello and welcome to the PHPN!
My name is Alisha, and I am the Pilbara Coordinator based in the offices of the Rural Clinical School and WA Primary Health Alliance in Karratha.
Originally from Queensland, I have travelled and lived all around Australia before making the move to the Pilbara more than 16 years ago. I joined the PHPN team in June 2021 and have since enjoyed connecting with health professionals across the region and learning about their experiences working in the Pilbara.
Through the PHPN, we support health professionals from all specialties by creating accessible opportunities for learning, collaboration, and professional connection. We also offer a range of hybrid events, allowing participants to attend either in person or online, ensuring health professionals across the Pilbara can stay connected regardless of location.
I always welcome feedback and ideas from our members, so please feel free to get in touch to say hello, suggest education topics, share networking ideas, or let us know how we can continue to improve and grow the PHPN.
Based in Karratha, my workdays are Monday to Thursday.
