Teaching on the run: Workshops for Clinicians – Effective Group Teaching – WACRH

Effective Group Teaching – This workshop will emphasise the importance of using active learning strategies when teaching small and large groups.

The Teaching on the Run (TOTR) program is an education program that includes several foundation
workshops designed to enable participants to apply sound teaching and learning principles in their
workplace environment. The suite of foundation workshops helps clinical staff become more efficient and
effective in their educational role.
This workshop series will enable reflection and planning around learning and teaching programs as we
focus on each topic area.

WORKSHOP DELIVERY:
Each workshop will be delivered in a blended learning format 45 minutes – 1hour online preparation & a 1.5-hour workshop at WACRH (Geraldton). Certificates are available on the completion of individual workshops.

FACILITATOR:
Kathryn Fitzgerald will facilitate the workshops. Kathryn is an accredited TOTR facilitator and an experienced allied health professional and educator.
