The ALERT™ Course

The ALERT™ course is a comprehensive educational program covering the assessment and management of acute life-threatening emergencies presenting in pre-hospital settings, urgent/emergency care departments and in acute hospital care settings.
Delivered using a structured and practical approach, the course is divided into 5 core modules:

Approach to emergencies: including primary and secondary survey and the principles of crisis resource management

Airway and breathing: including haemoptysis, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and drowning

Circulatory: including acute coronary syndrome, shock, acute pulmonary oedema, and pulmonary embolism

Disability: including concussion injury, seizures, pain, TIA, stroke, and dibetic ketoacidosis

Exposure: including anaphylaxis, sepsis, envenomation, and oncological emergencies
The ALERT™ course provides a theoretical foundation further grounded with practical application through eLearning case studies and skills videos. Each module can be completed at your convenience with webinar recordings available on-demand after the live event.
