Women’s Health, General Medicine, and Skin Cancer Medicine. I enjoy getting to know my patients over time and going on the journey of life with them
Tell us, where are you from and how did you get to be a General Practitioner in the Midwest-Gascoyne region?
I am originally from Perth and have always had an interest in going rural after completing Rural Clinical School as a Medical Student in Narrogin in 2013. I loved the rural lifestyle and medicine, and when I saw a job advertisement in Kalbarri, I thought what a beautiful place to live! Next thing, we were packing up and moving the whole family for an adventure of a lifetime!
What do you love about the Midwest-Gascoyne?
The beauty of nature and being able to hear the sound of the ocean waves
Did you always want to be a General Practitioner? Why?
I had no idea what I wanted to do when I left school but knew I loved human biology and talking to people. My journey has weaved its way from completing a Human Biology (Bachelor of Science) degree, to working in a lab and Fertility clinic, before commencing medical studies.
What are your passions?
Giving the best care I can, whilst maintaining work-life balance with my family
