Occupation: Dietitian
What are your professional interests/specialities?
Fertility, Pregnancy and Eating Disorders. I am a certified prenatal dietitian, and a credentialled eating disorder clinician.
Tell us, where you are from and how did you get to be a Dietitian in the Midwest-Gascoyne region?
I am originally from Busselton, and came to Geraldton for a student placement while a university – and was lucky enough to score a job a the hospital after graduating. Met a local at the pub and now Geraldton is home for our little family.
What do you love about the Midwest-Gascoyne?
I love being able to live so close to beach and also think we are spoilt for choice with good coffee shops in town.
Did you always want to be a Dietitian?
No, when I was little I wanted to be a writer and actor haha! When I went to uni I started out in a Human Biology degree and quickly transferred into Nutrition after some soul searching. Absolutely love being a Dietitian now and love how far the profession has come in recent years!
