Prevention in Practice training – free spots in Geraldton pilot sessions now available

Preventing Violence Together is thrilled to advertise vacancies in the upcoming Prevention in Practice (PVT) pilot sessions. Prevention in Practice is a two-day training adapted from Safe and Equal for delivery in WA.
Pilot sessions are free of charge.

The purpose of all pilot sessions is to obtain crucial feedback to help PVT further adapt the training for WA. Following the pilots there is likely to be a cost associated with future sessions. Early registration is encouraged to secure your spot.

The training is for:

  • Professionals working in specialist family and domestic violence services, and whose work may involve preventing family and domestic violence,
  • Professionals partnering with specialist family and domestic services to deliver prevention of violence against women activities, and
  • Professionals committed to developing and delivering prevention of violence against women activities.

Participants must be available to attend both days of the pilot.

  • Geraldton:
    • Pilot 3: Thursday 29 September and Thursday 30 September, 9am to 4pm both days (pending sufficient interest).

Register through Eventbrite, via the PVT website: Innovation and Learning – Preventing Violence Together (pvt.org.au)
