What are your professional interests/specialities?
Public Health, Immunisation, Child and Adolescent Health, Addiction Medicine

Tell us, where you are from and how did you get to be a in the Midwest-Gascoyne region?
I am from India, I came here to get a Masters in Public Health. We chose Australia to study due to Steve Irwin and Cricket. I was one of the outstanding students during my Masters. eventually I got a short term contract with Drug and Alcohol team in the Midwest and established the Local Drug action Group as well as the Community Opioid Pharmacotherapy Clinic and now it has been close to 15 years of living in the bush

What do you love about the Midwest-Gascoyne?
The community is very resilient, I like the part that there is a lot to do here and a lot to give to the community.

Did you always want to be a Medical Professional?
Yes most of my life, I always liked community medicine and was keen in tackling issues of general wellbeing of a society rather than curing an illness.

What are your passions?
Music, Cricket, Basketball and culture.

When you aren’t working, where will we find you?
Volunteering for the various organisations that I wear many hats for or at a music concert or a cricket or basketball game.
